How the referral bonus works
The referral bonus is paid by gift card once your referred surrogate completes screening and reaches legal clearance — meaning her contract with the intended parents has been signed and the medical cycle can begin.

Refer a first-time surrogate who joins the program and reaches legal clearance, and we send you a $1,500 gift card.

Refer an experienced surrogate who joins the program and reaches legal clearance, and we send you a $2,500 gift card.
How to refer
Three simple steps
- Tell her about BabyTree — share the Become a Surrogate page or just have her contact a BabyTree coordinator directly.
- She mentions you on her application — when she applies, she tells us you referred her. We confirm with you that the referral is accurate.
- We send your gift card — once she completes medical and psychological screening, signs her contract, and reaches legal clearance, your $1,500 or $2,500 gift card is mailed to you.
